The Charlie Award is a trophy that is given to the COAI Clown Alley which best documents and celebrates International Clown Week (August 1-7 or the first week in August).

Adopted in 1974, it was awarded to the COAI Alley that did the best job observing National Clown Week.

Today, it  is also awarded to the person that did the best job observing observing National Clown Week.
